It is said "No universally accepted definition of 'democracy' exists." But the basic understanding is "rule by the people." or "rule by the majority."
With this understanding do we really have democracy in "democratic" countries? Do the majority of the people, really decide how things should be?
True democracy should give the people the ability to have a say in how things are done. And where that say is the say of the majority it shouldn't be ignored.
There is the question do we trust the majority to make the right choices? If not, why do we currently trust a small band of men to decide for us all, what makes them better?
It has been suggested by some that to have a one world government, controlled by a central body, would be a bad idea. But we already have that type of government now, in our individual countries. A centrally controlled system, by a few men. But, with the added extra of having other nations that we can fight against in wars. Surely a one world government system presents the great advantage of ending all wars? Ok we may still be ruled by a central body, but True Democracy could deal with that problem. So what is True Democracy?
This is a joking political campaign but with the humour are some serious points
TV the MEDIA is our modern RULER
TV screens program us towe are who we "choose" to rule our lives.
We are told what to think and who to trust and what to buy on our TV screens everyday and we simply believe it all and drink it all down. Its not all bad, but its not all true either.
DON'T FORGET WHERE THE OFF SWITCH IS!!!! THINK for yourself. Vote with your feet. Dont just sit on your butt and be brain washed.
